On the 23th in December I am flying out to america.
I am very nervous and scared on the plane.
I hope the plane doesn't crash.
I have to fly for a very long time.

Sleepover
When I climbed into my cosy sleeping bag. I thought WOW! is this all real? I must be dreaming.If I was,that would be a shame because of all the fun stuff we did with the teachers and Birkenhead Leisure Centre.
Any way I forgot about and was soon into the movie wondering if i would get to sleep fast enough.I enjoyed the movie,but but when it finished Mr Mahy had to turn the lights off.
I also liked the end music of the movie.We watched the Lorax. I had a good sleep and was dreaming of my netball game. In the morning I woke up from my sleepy sleep.And was ready for breakfast. For breakfast we had a choice of toast or rice bubbles,for start I had rice bubbles then after I had toast few! I was hungry!
I paid $45 for not a suky sleepover but an awesome sleepover!.It took so long to get my things packed up.But I still enjoyed it.After a packed up,I went to go do gynastics on the grass with my friends. When my mum came and picked me up I was eager to tell her what we did!

The sleepover
As I woke up on the morning of Saturday I was so proud of myself because I had a sleep from 10:30-5:00 and it was only my second night away from my mum.
When I looked onto my right I saw Mya just waking up from her sleep.Me and Mya stayed awake listening to the people snoring,when we saw (Ella who was on my left) roll onto my camping roll and sleeping bag.Me and Mya laughed even harder when that happened but we tried to hold it in however, we ended up spitting on each other.
When most people were awake and Mr Mahy was as well he put a movie on to entertain us until breakfast was ready.
It was a super duper cool movie called Rio.It was a super,super,super,super,super duper sleepover.
My fun sleepover
I came to school at 8.30 waiting to play games and ativities.The bell just rang at 8.50.I was so excited because we are having a sleepover but the worst of all we had to do Jump Jam which was very uncool because these moves were very diffcult but when we finish we got our stuff and put them inside the hall.When it came to dinner the food was so good and we watched a movie called The Lorax which I seen it.I was happy I couldn't sleep because it was too noisy.

The Bridge Activity
The bride activity was so much fun.We had to make bridges out of card news paper string and sellotape.It had to be able to hold a little weight and my group was able to hold it! but we didn't win we came 5th but we had fun and tried our best!
Dinner Time!
Dinner was so yummy! we had Hamburgers and fries,I sat at the table with Billie ,Monique, Julia ,Ella ,Mya and other kids and we talked and laughed during dinner.After that we had desert lemonade Iceblocks! they were so good that was a great dinner and desert!
Morning Time
We woke up early on Saturday morning,then the teacher put on the movie Rio when we were getting dressed doing our hair brushing our teeth having breakfast Wait! i forgot to tell you about breakfast I had rice bubbles and toast (there were also Milo) Breakfast was very yummy .Then the time came and we all went home.
That was a very very very very very very very very very very very very fun sleepover THE END!!!!!

On Friday ,the day of the sleepover me and my friends Billie and Izzy were very excited for the sleepover. for dinner we had a burger and some hot chips,and for breakfast we had vanilla puffs,and jam and Vegemite on toast. Then we had a little play and then we want home. I had fun

School Sleep Over
When I went to bed a lot of people fell asleep. Before that, we watched a movie - it was so long.
The people that stayed awake for the whole movie,they ended up being asleep by 11o'clock.
I ended up going to bed through out the movie.
I was really tired.
It was hard to get to sleep,because everyone was loud:people walking round the hall for a lot of the night.

Medusa by Caitlin
Once upon a time there was a beautiful maiden named Medusa. Medusa lived in the city of Athens in Greece. There were many pretty maidens in Athens, but Medusa was claimed to be the most lovely.
Each day she boasted about how beautiful she was and each day they became more and more outrageous.
Every day she awoke from her beauty sleep and went downstairs to get breakfast.
After she had eaten, she went back up to her room. She gazed in her mirror at her pretty face while brushing her glowing hair.
After her hair was silky smooth, she left her house and walked into town.
She walked into the blacksmith's and boasted about the colour of her eyes. Then she would walk to the food stalls where the town's people were selling fresh fruit. She would brag about how her skin glowed brighter than a polished ruby.
She would go all over town boasting about how she was more elegant than a swan or that her hair was shinier than the glittering green sea.
Then she would come home and her father would ask her to fetch water for his horses from the well.
She would walk up the grassy hill to the well. She would sit on the edge of the well gazing at her reflection in the water for hours on end. Often she would forget to get the water so her father's horses were thirsty.
By the time she had come back to the house, her father had cooked supper. She sat down at the table and started eating.
After supper, she sat by the toasty fire on a comfy chair and read her book. She read a few chapters and then went into the bathroom and had a relaxing candle bubble bath.
Once she had finished she went upstairs, got dressed in her night gown and blew out the candle. Then the cycle starts all over again.
One day she went to the temple of the goddess who looked over Athens. Many other maidens went too.
When she got there she looked at the paintings and said,
"I bet that the painter would have done better capturing my beauty".
Then she walked over to the fountain and said,
"I could sculpt better than that!" Then she walked around the temple looking at her face in the golden walls.
Just then, the face of the goddess appeared! She boomed,
"So you think that you are prettier than me!"
"Well, um, no not particularly", stumbled Medusa.
"Well, all your life you did not pay any attention to anything but your beauty. So, now I shall take that away from you!" screamed the goddess.
"No! no! Please don't"! begged Medusa.
"No you can not persuade me and now I shall turn you into a horrible monster!" Then in a click of a finger, she turned into a Gorgan! Everybody fled from the temple screaming.
Ferocious snakes bit at each other upon her head and her eyes flashed red.
"If anybody dares to look at you they will turn to stone and even if you look at your own ugliness you too shall turn to stone!"said the goddess.
"What are you going to do me?" squeaked Medusa in a frail voice.
"I shall banish you too the end of the universe!"
"Oh no don't you think that's a little harsh?" said Medusa with a little more confidence.
"Silence!" shouted the goddess.
In a blink of an eye Medusa disappeared never to be seen again!

I am a shell. I lay on the golden sand as it covers me all over as if it’s burying me alive. My body is as black as charcoal and I have stripes as white as ivory. The glittering green sea scoops me up in his big, wet hands and pulls me out deep into the darkest nooks and crannies of the ocean. The flaming sun burns me up until I’m pieces of ash.
As I fall down and down to the bottom of the sea fish fly past as if they're jets. Sea slugs suck at the rocks. Crabs nip at the slimy stones. Dolphins leap out of the water like racing cars going over a speed bump. Jellyfish bob up and down side to side like they have no brain. Sharks flash a toothy grin. Octopi wave their tentacles all over the place, getting stuck to everything they get to close to.
